ROCRETE MD/ROCRETE HD is the ideal flooring solution for food processing, beverage manufacturing and other extreme work environments, due to the following quality features:

Hygiene and Cleaning

Can be cleaned to the same standard as stainless steel; inhibiting bacterial growth and ensuring the high hygiene standards that are required in food processing.

Temperature Resistance

Food production processes are likely to be accompanied by high temperatures, high humidity and low temperatures. Rocrete floors can withstand the following adverse conditions:

+    Water: resulting in over 20% water content in the ground base or concrete layer

+    Hot water: usually 50℃-70℃, up to 100℃ boiling water

+    High temperature spatter or drops: instantaneous high temperature greater than 100℃

+    Steam: > 100℃, < 130℃

+    Refrigeration or freezing: -20℃ to -40℃

Chemical Resistance

Rocrete industrial floor has good tolerance to the following common chemicals in the food industry:

+   50% acetic acid: Rocrete industrial floor is resistant to acetic acid, which is widely used in food industry to sterilize and clean

+   30% lactic acid at 60℃: Rocrete industrial floor is resistant to milk and dairy products

+  100% oleic acid at 60℃: Rocrete industrial floor is resistant to organic acids formed by vegetable oils and animal fats in the food industry

+   50% citric acid: citric acid in lemon juice and acidic substances such as fruit acid, which are widely used, can quickly decompose other resin floors. Rocrete industrial flooring is resistant to these products

+   50% sodium hydroxide at 60℃: Rocrete industrial flooring is resistant to sodium hydroxide widely used in clean and CIP areas

Slip Resistance

Excellent anti-slip characteristics both in dry and wet conditions. Dry/Wet anti-slip factor of 0.7 or higher.

Rapid Installation, Non-toxic

Rocrete industrial floors can be constructed on weekends or at night, greatly reducing upgrade or construction costs. Non-toxic and low-VOC characteristics during and after construction, ensures high safety for both food products and employees.
